Local folklore makes a claim about this house, but there is no evidence to substantiate the belief. Later owners were told that the house had been moved and a source who had lived in the neighbourhood in the 1930s and 1940s said that the house had been turned around. Since the design makes it unlikely that the house was turned around, the move probably brought it closer to th road, closer than the sixty feet originally required in Delta Manor.
